At Butler & Company, we design commercial, industrial, medical and ecclesiastical spaces that inspire.
We are passionate about our clients' dreams and we delight in bringing them to life, everyday, through beautiful and functional architectural design, thoughtful selection of materials, and an artisan's aesthetic that is the hallmark of a successful design project.
We have just completed construction on our new corporate office building, the SteelRidge Center in Birmingham, Alabama. We are thrilled with what the Butler & Company team accomplished for us! We now have a true showplace space in which to work and grow. Beyond our own offices, we also gained the option of additional space for further expansion or leasing to other business entities.
We chose a challenging site on purpose; our aim was to demonstrate the strength and resiliency of structural steel, our product offering. Butler & Company not only creatively incorporated our product throughout the design and construction of our building, but also featured it as a storyline of the beauty that can be achieved using fabricated steel. Using three different metal surfaces, the framework of SteelRidge Center is enhanced by many beautiful forms.
As beautiful as the structure is, the workspaces are equally well-planned. This is all a result of Butler & Company’s careful attention to the site’s challenges and understanding our needs. The team did not simply lead us through this process; they also served as a partner, ensuring every detail was perfectly executed in our best interest.
We knew that we had hired a talented firm that would deliver but did not know they would take us on as family. We are incredibly pleased with what has been achieved with SteelRidge Center, and we highly commend Butler & Company Architects to you.
Faith Presbyterian Church used Butler & Company Architects to design our Student Activities building and to revise our campus master plan. This was the largest project in our church's history and one of the best decisions we made was using BCA as our project architect. From beginning to end, BCA provided incredible service and value to our team. Their insight helped us build a facility that met our church's current and future needs while preparing us for future phases of construction.
The team was responsive and courteous and went above and beyond to make sure our project was successful. We felt like we had a true partner in the project. I highly recommend BCA and hope to work with them on future projects.
I am writing to give my highest recommendation for Butler & Company Architects. From the beginning of our new construction project at Greystone Chiropractic, Andrew Butler and his team worked hand in hand with me on the design, floorplan, interior, and exterior of my project.
Andrew spent a lot of time asking questions and learning about my business, the flow of patients and staff, and my wants and needs in order to come up with a plan and design that not only worked, but exceeded all expectations. His first concept literally nailed every aspect of what I had envisioned, not only as far as practicality, with good flow and use of space, but by far the most aesthetically pleasing building inside and out that I could imagine and probably the most beautiful chiropractic office I have seen in my nearly 20 years of practice. Andrew not only designed the project but worked closely with the contractors and crew to ensure all details were covered and nothing was incorrect regarding schedule, quality, and cost. I highly recommend Butler & Company for architectural design and implementation.
The true measure of an architect's work can only be quantified after the project is completed, but the true character of an architect is revealed on day one of the project. After working with Andrew Butler of Butler & Company I can assuredly say, his work and his character are second to none. From our initial meetings, to the grand opening of my free standing animal hospital in Ross Bridge, Andrew made the design process a pleasure. He not only listened to my vision of what I wanted for the aesthetics and function of the building, he also brought fresh ideas to veterinary hospital design. This allowed me to have a beautiful building with efficient work flow that will suit our business for years to come, and far surpasses any building I have ever worked out of. I cannot begin to describe his attention to detail, availability, and creativity when working with me and my team. I can't be sure that I will ever need another building designed, but I can be sure that if I do, he will be the one to do it.
Note: This project was developed while Andrew Butler was design/project architect at the firm TurnerBatson.
